SHIPPING

ORDER DEADLINE each week is FRIDAY NIGHT to ship the following week. We ship each week on MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS. Orders received after Friday will not ship until the next shipping cycle - they will ship one week later. NOTE - PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS. IF YOUR ADDRESS IS NOT CORRECT AND YOUR ORDER IS RETURNED TO US WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REFUND OR REPLACE YOUR ORDER. We do not ship outside of the US.

We harvest our wasabi to order.  Wasabi orders are harvested weekly each week of the year (with the exception of the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years) - wasabi has no season.  Orders placed by Saturday at midnight Pacific Standard Time will be harvested and shipped the following week on Tuesday or Wednesday. Delivery is typically Fridays or Saturdays.

Website orders for rhizomes and plant starts are are usually delivered on Fridays or Saturdays.  

Shipping Cost: Varies depending on the weight of your order. Cost is calculated at checkout. Orders are shipped via USPS.

Overnight is possible. Cost is approximately $65-75  + materials (depending on order size and weight of order) .  Inquire at info@TheWasabiStore.com for overnight options.

Holiday Order Deadlines TBD):  We do not ship the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.  Please see the orders webpage for ordering cutoff dates / days.  Each order is harvested after the order is placed.  

Products can be ordered to arrive before the holidays and be kept in the refrigerator.  Please see the blog post "how long does it last" and the web page "preparation and storage"

Packages containing live plants or wasabi root must be refrigerated upon delivery.  

Shipping Notes: most orders are shipped in cube boxes - seasoning salt and powder only orders are shipped in insulated envelopes. Rhizome (root) orders are shipped in boxes with insulated liners and ice packs.  Plant start orders are shipped in boxes with the plant starts in bags with soil. Plant starts are shipped bare root with the leaves trimmed off. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR REPLACING OR REFUNDING ORDERS THAT ARE UNDELIVERABLE DUE TO ADDRESS ERRORS.
